The freshmen team left 3 runners on third with less than two out throughout the game. It proved costly in the end. The Rams got behind 4 - 0 after the first inning. Starter Alex Depasquale pitched well going 6 innings. They fought back to 5 - 2 going into the 7th. The Rams had the bases loaded and 1 out when Javier Barragan doubled in two. The Rams then stranded the baserunners. The lose dropped the Rams to a 7 - 2 overall record. Next up the Rams hope to rebound Monday @ Xavier.
